About a week ago the hubs and I got to get out of Dodge and go on a morning hike with some dear friends. We loaded up the car at the wee hour of 7am, left the Bug with my mom {a special thanks to her because she is NOT a morning person}, and drove about an hour away to Watonga, America. It is the home of Roman Nose Park and some amazing cheese. {However, I was the only one in the car who apparently knows about said cheese and the said cheese festival. I smell another road trip, perhaps?}
It was a wonderful chance to UNplug, recharge, and to breathe in some beauty- all while burning a few calories with some good company.
One of the few "pictures" of the trip's photographer- my hubs... capturing Joel figuring out our route for the day. |
Adam just happened to glance down at some railing at the beginning of our hike and saw this- I love coincidences like that. Absolutely perfect. |
"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God."
Romans 1:20
